Connect Monday.com

With the Monday connection, Merlin can work in your monday.com account: view boards and items, create or move items, and post updates (comments). You do not create your own Monday developer app. CallMerlin uses the shared CallMerlin app; you only authorize it.

What you need

1. A monday.com account allowed to authorize apps
2. CallMerlin dashboard access under Connections
3. On the PIN: View tasks & projects and/or Edit tasks & projects
4. The Monday connection in that PIN’s connection group (vault), or marked Shared

Without those PIN permissions or without Monday in the vault, Merlin will not use Monday.

Connect (end user)

1. Go to callmerlin.app → Dashboard → Connections
2. Click New connection (or open Monday from favorites)
3. Choose Monday
4. Click Connect and sign in to monday.com
5. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize / Allow
6. You return to CallMerlin with a connected status
7. Put the connection in the right connection group, or mark it Shared

PIN permissions

Turn on write permissions only for PIN users who need them.

Example prompts

• "Which Monday boards do I have?"
• "Show open items on board X"
• "Create an item 'Acme quote' on the Sales board"
• "Move that item to the Done group"
• "Post an update on item 123: customer calls back tomorrow"

Reconnect

After CallMerlin expands Monday permissions: disconnect Monday under Connections and connect again. That is how new permissions become active.

Troubleshooting

• Authorize fails or app not found: your monday account must be allowed to install the CallMerlin app. Ask your Monday admin or CallMerlin support.
• Merlin says Monday does not work: check PIN permissions, whether Monday is in the vault, and whether the connection is still valid (test or reconnect).
• Read works, write does not: enable Edit tasks & projects and authorize again if Monday asks for extra consent.
