SEPA payment files

Merlin takes open purchase invoices from your connected accounting package (Moneybird, Sage, WeFact, e-Boekhouden or Sevdesk) and turns them into a SEPA payment file. That is a file your bank accepts. You download it, upload it in ING, Rabobank or ABN AMRO, and sign there.

CallMerlin does not submit anything to the bank. Merlin does not mark invoices as paid. Wait until the debit appears in your accounting.

What you need

1. At least one of Moneybird, Sage, WeFact, e-Boekhouden or Sevdesk connected under Connections
2. That connection in the PIN user's vault
3. PIN permission SEPA payment files enabled

Without that permission or without such a package in the vault, Merlin will not create a file.

Multiple packages

If you have more than one supported package in the vault, Merlin asks which package to use. There is always exactly one source per request. Merlin never merges invoices from different packages.

Jortt, Elvy, Xero, QuickBooks, Exact and Accountview are not in this flow: they do not provide reliable purchase invoices plus supplier account details on this route.

In chat

Say: "Prepare my open purchase invoices" (or: "Prepare outstanding purchase invoices").

Merlin shows the count, total and up to five suppliers. Invoices without a supplier account number are skipped and counted. Confirm. A download link then appears in the chat. Open the link, save the file, upload it in your bank and sign there.

Merlin does not read the link aloud. Click it in the chat.

By phone

Call, enter your PIN and give the same instruction. Merlin speaks the count and total, and sends the download link by SMS or email.

Later in chat: "Do I still have a SEPA file?" You get a new link to the same file.

Please note

• Do not upload the file again if it is already in the bank.
• Merlin does not mark purchase invoices as paid. Accounting does that after a booked debit.
• Only say explicitly that you want to create it again if you truly need a new file.
• Each PIN only sees the administration of the chosen package in its own vault.
